In Ndutu, you’ll experience the essence of the Serengeti without the crowds, enjoying a tranquil safari experience. This hidden gem in northern Tanzania lies conveniently between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, yet remains refreshingly uncrowded. While it is particularly vibrant during the Great Migration, the area offers incredible wildlife encounters year-round, including frequent sightings of big cats like tree-climbing lions.

Located in the heart of the Serengeti, Into Wild Africa provides an exceptional safari experience. The sight of Ngorongoro Crater is one you’ll never forget. From the crater rim, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of this natural marvel, stretching 19 kilometers (12 miles) across. As you descend into the crater, you’ll explore a vibrant and self-contained ecosystem, home to an incredible variety of wildlife. Lions and hyenas roam the plains, while elephants and endangered black rhinos share the space with Grant’s gazelles. The day will reveal a surprising mix of habitats, including the Lereal Forest, the saltwater Lake Magadi, and the gently rolling plains of the crater floor.
