Your adventure begins now: your Tanzanian safari starts here. An exciting journey awaits and we will start your trip as soon as we give you an introduction to our team and explain what lies ahead.
Arusha serves as the gateway to an incredible safari experience here in northern Tanzania and most travelers pass through at some stage. Whether you’re on your way out on safari or here for a little longer, you’ll catch a glimpse of streets filled with energy and color.
Meal Plan – Day 1
Dinner
Olerai Lodge
You'll be based at Olerai Lodge for your visit to Arusha. It's a good place to return to at the end of the day.
Your next safari stop is Lake Manyara, a fantastic and relatively compact park. There is so much to look forward to here. To start with, there's the dramatic scenery of cliffs, forest and lake all in a relatively small area. You will enjoy it when it comes to wildlife. Lake Manyara is famous for its elephants that roam the forests, its gregarious troops of olive baboons, and its lions which sometimes climb trees. It's a unique combination that offers something a little different to the other parks in Tanzania's north.
Activity Day 2
Participate in a guided game drive through the forests in Lake Manyara, where sightings of the park's elephants and tree-climbing lions are the main prize.
Activity Day 3
Join our guided exploration to discover elephants, tree climbing lions and other wildlife on a guided game drive through Lake Manyara National Park.
Meal Plan – Day 2 & 3
Jungle pearl resort
There's much for you to enjoy at Jungle Pearl Resort. It's a good place to stay in a good location.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
High in the Ngorongoro Highlands, you can expect beautiful views, dense forests and cool temperatures. Apart from Ngorongoro Crater, there are plenty of dramatic land formations, with steep-walled craters and high, rocky summits a feature. Watch for wildlife also in the forests, including elephants, buffaloes and, if you're lucky, leopards.
Activity Day 4
Leave the crowds behind and join us for a guided game drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands. It's a chance to see and learn what this remarkable landscape has to offer.
Activity Day 5
You'll be heading down more safari trails in search of animals in Ngorongoro Highlands when we take you on a guided game drive. This is the best thing about many safaris, and you'll hopefully see many animals.
Meal Plan – Day 4 & 5
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Overnight Safari Camp
Your accommodation will be at Pakulala Safari Camp while you're in Ngorongoro Highlands. It's a nice place to return to at the end of your safari day.
There's nowhere in Tanzania where you have a better chance of seeing big cats than in the Central Serengeti. You'll also see lots of other animals as you explore the savannah grasslands and silhouetted acacia trees with us. This is the Serengeti's heartland and it is the most popular area of the park, for a very good reason.
Activity Day 6
You never quite know what you'll see on your guided game drive in the Central Serengeti as your guide takes you through some of Tanzania's best wildlife country.
Activity Day 7
Come and see the best of Central Serengeti National Park as we take you out on a guided game drive. It really is a terrific way to feel a part of Africa with the wind in your hair as we drive you around looking for animals.
Meal Plan – Day 6 & 7
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Intimate Camp Seronera
At Intimate Camp Seronera, you're staying inside Central Serengeti National Park and you'll have time to experience all that the camp and its location can offer.
Welcome to the Unesco World Heritage–listed Serengeti, one of Africa’s top safari destinations. While you’re here, there’s an excellent chance that you’ll see leopards along the dry riverbanks, cheetahs out on the grasslands, elephants, giraffes and all kinds of antelopes everywhere across the park. Watch also for the Serengeti’s famous lion prides. And that’s just the start. Some of the largest and most diverse wildlife populations on the planet roam the Serengeti, not to mention millions of wildebeest and zebras who migrate across the plains every year.
Meal Plan – Day 8 & 9
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Camp Zebra
Camp Zebra will be your base in the central Serengeti. This excellent tented camp has a dining and lounge tent, and you'll sleep in large safari tents that look out across the savannah grasslands and acacia trees. If you're lucky, an elephant might pass by right next to your tent, or you'll hear a lion roar while you're lying in bed at night.
Even the best safaris must come to an end. We're sure that you will travel home with a suitcase full of happy memories, and we hope that you will join us again soon.
Activity Day 10

Itinerary
Welcome to the start of your safari and welcome to Tanzania! You've chosen a fantastic place for your safari journey and we'll get you started with an introductory briefing before we head out to begin the trip you've been dreaming of.
The streets of Arusha are fantastic places for you to learn a little more about local life in a northern Tanzanian. Apart from the endless fascination of life on these busy streets, there are museums, markets, and a rewarding local food scene for you to experience.
Meal Plan – Day 1

The African Tulip
Getting a good night's sleep is not hard at the African Tulip, even though this boutique hotel is close to the center of busy Arusha. It has a quiet side-street location and excellent rooms are perfect for a relaxing stay. Enjoy also the swimming pool, restaurant serving good local and international specialties, and the bar.
Almost everyone who visits Lake Manyara National Park falls in love with this unique park. Lake Manyara is most famous for being one of the few parks in Africa where its lions climb trees. It's not unusual to look up into the branches of Lake Manyara's forest canopy and find yourself face-to-face with a lion (or even an entire pride). Large populations of elephants and olive baboons are further highlights, while the backdrop to all wildlife sightings here is the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment which rises over the park's western boundary, or pretty Lake Manyara which dominates the east.
Activity Day 2
Participate in a guided game drive through the forests in Lake Manyara, where sightings of the park's elephants and tree-climbing lions are the main prize.

Enjoy also the swimming pool, bar, restaurant, and being close to Lake Manyara National Park.
Your day in and around Ngorongoro Crater could just be one of the most memorable of your whole safari. You’ll explore the crater rim and then drive down onto the crater floor, where the critically endangered black rhinos are the stars of an astonishing wildlife show. You’ll almost certainly see large-tusked elephants, at least one of the Ngorongoro’s four lion prides, and wandering clans of spotted hyenas. It also just happens to be one of Africa’s most beautiful corners, a hidden world where you’ll be surrounded by steep, deep-green crater walls, a salt lake, forests and hippo filled waterways.

Discover just why so many safari visitors fall in love with the Serengeti. Keep an eye out for big cats, even bigger elephants, and almost every kind of safari wildlife you can imagine. You might also see giraffe, impala, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, hundreds of species of birds, and that may all just be before breakfast.
